In addition to food processing equipment, restaurants have restrooms which need to be cleaned multiple times a day. Toilet/bowl brushes provides a convenient way to scrub equipment from a distance with the long handles. Sanitary bowl brushes have a range of abrasive filament for deep cleaning to soft cleaning. Abrasive filaments can break up substances while soft filaments can clean stains. Special shapes can reach deep into sanitary equipment.

Allied K&R manufactures two types of sanitary bowl brushes – twisted-in-wire and spiral/wire wound. Twisted-in-wire bowl brushes are bent in a loop tip and cemented in a wood handle end.  Spiral/wire wound bowl brushes are made by firmly fasten the filament with a wire in the spiral grooves of the wood handle.
